The Watchung Hills Elks are active in Warren Township and surrounding communities such as Watchung, the Plainfields, Dunnellen, Middlesex and Bridgewater.
Our lodge of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks serves the people and communities through public-spirited programs, demonstrating that Elks Care and Elks Share.
We include the principles of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity in everything we do. We work to promote the welfare and happiness of our Members; to spread American patriotism; to cultivate good fellowship; to perpetuate our lodge as a fraternal organization; to provide for its government, and to serve the people and local communities through humanitarian programs, demonstrating that Elks Care and Elks Share.
to give back to our community, whether by supporting children’s sports-teams, sponsoring sleep-away camp for children with special needs, college scholarships at WHRHS, donating money and gift cards to local food banks, providing “home startup kits” for homeless veterans as they gain their own homes, chartering Cub Scout packs and more. We respond when asked and do what we can, whether that be “boots on the ground” or writing a check.
We are located in Warren Township, NJ, situated on 6.5 acres including a pavilion, bandstand, picnic area, grotto, meeting hall and members-only swimming pool. Our Meeting Hall and outdoor pavilion and picnic area facilities are available for Public use for an appropriate donation; non-profits at no charge.
